For a while now, I've been buying HyperX (Kingston) 2400 and 2666 MHz DDR4. It has been solid on all prior motherboards (H110, H310). I had bought six of these motherboards since stock from my suppliers ran out.
I built a system with the first of six motherboards, i3-9100 (supports a max of 2133 MHz), Samsung 500GB 970 EVO Plus and a single stick of 8GB 2666 HyperX DDR4. Yes, single channel with one stick. BSOD (WHEA Uncorrectable Error).
As a tech, I've changed practically everything including tried a second motherboard and CPU to no avail. ASUS said it's the RAM not being on the Qualified Vendor List (QVL) and I believe them. Though, I've used the RAM on several other CSM boards with positive results. It's just strange it doesn't work on this board. Maybe it wants two sticks or a brand and model from the QVL.
I'm going to buy compatible Crucial 2400 or 2666 DDR4 from one of my suppliers and am hopeful this solves it.
Is the H370 really that sensitive?
