Setting up profile photo via url breaks it

hey all :)

 Just a bug report here when it comes to setting your  Profile phot and I don't mean the avatar , but your forum profile photo, I always used the url method  and  now I wanted to change it so I uploaded this photo that I wanted to use for my Forum Profile photo:


So with that I wanted to use this url, but it was a no go:

After uploading my photo I pasted the url I wanted to use:


Then saved it:



Then went to my profile and it does not show:


So yeah something broke here, hence why this post

    I checked your links. They are not working, however, photo posting is working.   Check your source.

    if I want to post it as a picture it would require  some basic html

    For all the years I have been using this site I never had this issue, on other websites that make links in to pics it just works fine I think it's something to do with the EVGA website and not the gallery I been using since 2004.
    And I have no idea who the Web master is sorry, I am not here every day I have my own communities to run and such.
    All I do know is the gallery I have used all those years has never changed my methods of posting has never changed and has always worked so what is is the cause it's not my gallery it's something with this website's software setup.

    Other sites I post on have no issues what so ever so as that goes,I am questioned.

    I think the forums are having an issue too, when I use the my direct link to the forums (https://forums.evga.com/) is comes up as an error.  But if I use the link https://forums.evga.com/Forums the forums open like they should.  I also get the error page if I hit the Home Link at the top of the page.  Might have something to do with your photo not working right.
     
    edit - nevermind - did a refresh on the https://forums.evga.com/ link and it came up correctly.

    No go here I used Imgur and also not working here the image I tried to use from Imgur

    Do images need a limited size for this to even work?

    Not what I meant

    it's all referring to this problem is when I post a link of the image I want to use for my  Profile picture, and hereby not meaning the avatar it's self but the profile picture.


    The profile picture would normally go behind the text of my First & last name info.
    The url I wanted to use is this one:
    https://i.imgur.com/o1I11P3.jpg

    So what would normally happen is that photo would also be visible on my profile page and left of that the avatar with is the KLM B747-406M and the AF Concorde;
    As seen here, but yea nothing there as you can see :X


    Anyways I hope this can be fixed, because I remember it used to work fine.
