I put together a Z490 FTW system this week with an i7 10700K.  I immediately updated the motherboard to BIOS 1.04.  I have tried two PS/2 keyboards in the Z490 and neither one is recognized in BIOS or in Windows 10.  Both keyboards work fine on the other PCs that I have with PS/2 ports.  I have not downgraded to BIOS 1.03 to see if that fixes the issue.  Is anyone else having an issue with the PS/2 port on the Z490 FTW?

Thanks,
Robert

Just to check you're not hot plugging them are you? PS/2 doesn't support that.

    Have water, will cool.

Nope, not hot plugging. I have been using Model M keyboards since the early 90s and I haven't popped a PS/2 port yet. Thanks for the reply.

Just a follow up to the PS/2 port not functioning on the Z490FTW.  I returned the motherboard to EVGA for a refund and purchased a new EVGA Z490FTW motherboard.  I installed the new motherboard today and have the same issue, which is the PS/2 port does not work with any of the three IBM Model M keyboards I tried.  The keyboards are not recognized in BIOS so that the arrow keys or tab keys do not work in the BIOS menus.  This behavior is the same with the 2 released BIOS files.  I will try the PS/2 keyboard in Windows shortly, although I'm fairly certain the behavior of the port will be the same and the port will not function in the Windows environment either.   I will report this to EVGA as a bug.
