Hello,
I just got my parts - 2x KINGPIN 2080 Ti, i9 10920x, 1tb 905p NVME and the EVGA X299 Dark.
I'm getting the dF code.
Any way I can update the bios without entering to the bios?
OR was it shipped with the new motherboard chip?

Please help, getting the package from the US takes lots of time thanks to the quarantine.

You will need a new BIOS chip. If it is not registered please register it and we can send one out. dF means the board doesnt recognize the CPU

Try powering off and switching to another BIOS (that mobo has 3) with the selector switch..The Supported CPU List says "Cascade Lake-X CPUs can boot into the BIOS with older BIOS versions, but will not function properly until updated to at least version 1.19" but that may not be the case in reality..If it boots into BIOS using another BIOS, you should be able flash it to the latest version which is Version 1.23 as of now..Be sure to flash all 3 BIOS' to the latest.

If no joy and you're in hurry (who isn't, right?), call around to some local PC shops in your area to see if they have a supported CPU they can put in it real quick like and flash it for you, which is what I would do..Shouldn't cost much at all..Or, you can just wait for the chip from EVGA to arrive, whenever that may be.
