Microsoft has launched a new application for Windows 10 which allows users to recover accidentally deleted files: https://www.theverge.com/21306670/microsoft-windows-file-recovery-tool-app-download-features

The app is named File Recovery, and it is available to download from the Microsoft Store.

    I have not managed to get this to work. Have you tried it? 
    I just tried it on a file I deleted last night at 11:32 PM. The deleted file was still in the recycle bin. I just tried it on a file I deleted last night. But the Windows File Recovery found nothing.

    It probably ignores what is in the recycle bin, because what is in the recycle bin isn't yet truly deleted.

    I have accidentally  deleted files before.  This will be quite handy!
