Looks like a memory issue. Is your card overclocked?

I had a very similar experience playing A Plague Tale: Innocence.  I would get similar "rainbow sparkle flashes" after playing a bit and then the game would crash to desktop without error.  I enabled vsync in game and the problem disappeared.  This is the only game I've experienced this phenomenon with and I have absolutely no idea why enabling vsync worked.

I had this exact issue with Monster Hunter World a few drivers back. Had to roll back to an even older driver for it to go away. I would suggest rolling back your NVIDIA driers a few versions and see if that fixes it.

Try 3dmark or any other benchmark, even Superposition. Games are not the best way to check for artifacts.
