GPU crash if I raise clock for both memory and GPU, what to do ?

Hello,
I use gtx1080 hybrid.
Intel i7 8700k with 120 mm watercooler.
Driver version (type:game driver) 451.48
Latest windows 10 updates until I posted this.
boot type: LEGACY
Drive Type : M2
 
I raised my GPU's memory clock about 100 and GPU about 200. I did not notice any significant temperature changes. After a time that immediately freezes. Is that wrong to raise them about 200 or 100 ???

    Not wrong, but every gpu will oc different. 200 sounds like it's too high for your gpu core.

    Thanks for the answer. The problem is I have some fps issue on Rise of Tomb Raider. That normally works about 60-55 fps but at some locations that drops to 35-45 fps. I thought If I oc that fix issue. Is that about game ?

    Yeah i agree that +200 on the gpu seems excessive. And yes pretty much any game will have certain scenes or maps that will reduce fps very rapidly.  Overclocking a gpu doesn't have a very significent affect on fps either, not enough to really make a big difference.
