June 6th is the 76th anniversary of D-Day. On this day in 1944, allied troops invaded Normandy, France to fight Nazi Germany in World War II. It was the largest land and water invasion in history, not to mention a major turning point in the war. Please take a minute to honor the sacrifice and service of Allied forces in Europe that led to victory in WWII.

    As a veteran myself, I can remember my father telling of those days and how hard it was on the troops.They deserve our respect and honor for their duty to their nation and the world.
