Hello, I have a Dark x299 disc and I have a question about bios. From version 1.19, a new generation is uploaded to the processor. Is it normal that the temperatures on these bios from 1.19 to 1.23 have a temperature increase of almost 10 degrees in idle and same is on load? it is the same for both 7940x and 10920x, but when I return to version 1.09 to 1.14 this is not a problem, what is the cause?

Sounds like the voltages have been increased. Increased cpu vcore = more heat.

Yes now adaptive is 1.3V for 1.19 and 1.23 last down numbers bios have 1.2V adaptive. But on 7940x if up bios to 1.21 same problem, and Vcore is 1.27V like on 1.09 bios, but tmeps is diffrence 1.21 4.7 cr20 88C 1.09 4.7 cr20 79C ( its loop not single run)

Also..I think there's a setting in the BIOS somewhere for CPU TjMax temperature (weird)..I would make sure it's set correctly set for the 7940X and 10920X..102C and 94C respectively. If the TjMax temp is set incorrectly, reported temperature will be wrong in everything..That's what it kinda sounds like, but check on it to be sure. OC Guide for EVGA X299 DARK motherboard

So what is now safe voltage for serias 10xxx? if they change voltage on adaptive to 1.3V real is 1.35V

So something is wrong with voltage on bios, on stock is cool, but switch to adaptive 1.3v then in windows nad bios sensor show 1.35v for full load or half

What CPU and multiplier are you using? If you use adaptive it will ignore your setting up to turbo boost 3.0 speed.

The plug on the motherboard for measurement from Evga. I dont use the turbo boost 3.0, is disabled on bios. Can explain something ? Microcode can give higer temps? To 8 ?? More on cores in idle nad Full load?

Turbo Boost 3.0 speed has nothing to do with the software being disabled it is hard coded into the CPU which is why it overrides the adaptive setting. Adaptive is only used for multipliers without programmed voltage.

and uncorevoltage is still safe near 1.3V? or they bump this?
