I purchased some sleeved cables for my 750w SuperNOVA, but they don't seem to be responding properly to my psu. I just rebuild my waterloop in a new case...just to find out nothing turns on. After days of building and then trying to find the cause of not booting, I decided to try my default cables starting with only plugging in the 24 pin and what do you know...I get lights.

I decide to leave the default 24 pin, but use the new sleeved cables for the rest of the connections. As soon as I do that, my mobo goes dead again. Obviously, the cables is the problem. After almost 2 weeks of work, I have to tear my loop down yet again to remove the cables properly (mostly the cpu cable that is behind fans and a tube). Very frustrating.

I need to check with the community if I got the wrong cables or just bad cables. The product description said it was compatible with the G3 SuperNOVA though.

    Dang that is Not good

    Time to Call EVGA CS
    Contact Customer Service

Your 750 G3  PSU Under the "Compatiblity tab" & it lists --> those cables

With plenty of light examine the ends of cables ---> make sure they are not marked to indicate the direction you need to install (PSU)

Your building a custom loop - so, I'm guessing you know the standard way power cables are installed

Someone "building the set" just has to get 1 wire wrong & something has  12v or ground in the wrong spot ---> That would explain the PSU shutting down

Disconnect ALL PC connections to PSU ---> With the Test Jumper & 24-pin wires connect to PSU does it start ?

So try using a 24 pin bridging plug like I am filling the loop/leak testing? I've done that and the water pump turn on still.

Also, in the 24 pin there is a missing metal wire that isn't missing on the default 24 connector.
