Looks like it will tell us some about how good Compute is on Ampre.

    Yes, I will watch it.
    I plan to replace 1 2080 with a Ti variant once the EVGA hydro gets announced/released.

    I will get at least one TI version.  Maybe a second one next year.  Will see how it performs.  If compute is really 70% faster it could be a folding monstor.

    I'll be watching or at least listening to it.  I'm hoping to pick up a 3080, if that's what they call it, card when they are released and really hoping they don't jack the price up too much.  Also hoping they will be folding monsters with the increased compute power!

    I'm itching to do a rebuild in the fall... if prices aren't ridiculous for a 3080 I could be persuaded to drop the $$ to upgrade.

    My situation is a little more complicated. I'm giving the 2080 to my Church as part of a streaming upgrade, so I'll need to replace it anyway. Plus with Cyberpunk 2077 coming in September, I want the best 4k experience for when I do play it.
