Relay clicks 7 times on startup

Hello! I've changed my motherboard out and noticed that relay on Evga Nu Audio clicks up to 7 times on the system startup. Is it normal? Or can it reduce the life of the card components?

    No that's not normal. It should only click twice. Once for the Head phone relay and second the for line out. Sounds like either the sound card or the motherboard are having trouble recognizing each other. So the mobo keeps power cycling it to trying to detect it. going take the card out and read up on the pci-e lane settings and Bios settings also if there is a option to shut off onboard audio in the bios. What motherboard are you using and what else is connected to the pci-e or NVme or m.2 slots if it has them?

    Thanks for the reply. Motherboard is Gigabyte GA-MA-790X-UD3P with the latest BIOS version installed. The onboard soundcard is disabled in BIOS. And also installed GeForce 9500 in pcie 16x slot

    What components (Graphics and Sound card) are occupying what slot on the board?

    That hardware is bringing up some old memorys to when I started building PC's . Used to own them. Only thing I could recommend is moving your graphics card to the pci-e x8 slot and put the card in the top pci-e x1 slot. Also never asked but does the soundcard work even though it does this?

    The relay clicks 6-7 times regardless of port the card installed in.
     
    Yes, the sound card works. You mean that i need more modern hardware and shouldn't use this old motherboard? And i don't want to put the sound card in the upper slot because of very hot radiator of chipset. It heats up the sound card)

    More than likely because it is dated. I mean if it works should be fine. Might just be the way the the motherboard boots its controller while its posting. probably cycles though to find the most compatible setting for the controllers on the motherboard and that just happens to cycle the relays as its testing each setting until it finds the one that works with that card. But updating to something wouldn't hurt. But Keep that board and graphics card as a collector item. I always bought Gigabyte ultra durable boards when I had a AMD CPU. All time favorite boards. Makes me wish I held on to my GA-MA790FX-DS5. Things were bullet proof.

    I have a X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING (rev. 1.0) and my NuAudio clicks 4x (sometimes) but normal is 2x

    I see. I just need more modern motherboard to keep my Nu Audio good-working) And then CPU, memory and other stuff))) And i also prefer Gigabyte motherboards.
