I understand this is a bit of a reach but thought to ask in case this is possible.
 
I have not upgraded any of my component for a long time given that I am still rocking a P55 but recently purchased a new GPU.  I realize now that I needed to do more research into the compatibility as it appears the GPU requires UEFI support and I do not believe mine currently supports UEFI.  To be honest I did not know what UEFI was before experiencing issues with installing my GPU.  I checked the latest update for the BIOS which was 2011 which I still think lacks UEFI support.
 
Is there a version that supports UEFI or am I at the point I need to upgrade the motherboard?

It is a Sapphire Radeon RX 5600 XT Pulse. 
 
I know it is quite the gap and I was surprised that PCPartPicker said that this was compatible.  I now realize I that should have looked into it more and not relied on the site so much in making my selection.
 
I am hoping there might be an update for the motherboard that might let it support UEFI though I think that is unlikely but wanted to check before committing to purchasing a new motherboard.
