Hey
The sound card was working until now (2 days after installation). The sound suddenly disappeared. So i did a reboot after the reboot I got prompted with a driver installer for the NU Audio card and i throught it had started an auto update or something. went through the installer. Afterwards at startup i get prompted: "EVGA NU Audio driver failed to install correctly. please reboot your computer and run the installer again"

I haved tried everything(uninstall, different driver versions, clean, disable MB sound, update BIOS, update drivers, switched PCIe slot, remove the sound card.) beside formatting the PC which is something I really don't want to do!

something that really wonder me is that before installing the driver first time Windows 10 did detect the sound card but it doesn't anymore. Is it allready dead?

The one thing I did not see you mention was checking that the PCIe power is attached and completely/properly seated into the card and the PSU if it's modular.

There are posts on here that I have replied too with your issue and how to fix it. reset your PC through windows but keep your files then retry installation. Windows, type reset this pc, get started, keep my files, then let it do its thing. after is done, retry driver installation.

Clean install didn't work. windows still doesn't detect the card I assume its a brick now.

I have the same problem. I'm getting the same message: EVGA NU Audio driver failed to install correctly. Please reboot your computer and run the installer again.
For weeks I've been trying to solve this, I've tried everything.. the new win10 installation repeatedly, win 7, two different power supplies, all the pci-e slots, update bios on the motherboard, turned off the integrated sound card, another computer, and much more... but nothing.
In the end, all I have left is the RMA.
I am very disappointed with this product.

#6 I wrote to tech support and they are currently creating an RMA case for the card.
If you never had the card working. I can tell you that the sound card does a really good job providing a great sound experience when it is working.

I have the same problem. I'm getting the same message: Stops working.....EVGA NU Audio driver failed to install correctly. I Had problem a while ago and stopped using it. Used it all day yesterday and day before with no problem . Today, here we go again. Stopped again, was not doing anything otherwise, just listening to music in other room. Last 2 days i was on computer while listening. I disabled background and screensaver to see if that helps. I re-installed 2 days ago , maybe try to re-install again and see if get 2 days of use again :( .

I suddenly have the very same issue.  My card was working last night but not today.  I reseated the card and unplugged and replugged the power cable and the side logo is breathing like normal but windows 10 no longer sees the card and launches its software at boot up.

Well I'm back to onboard sound but I'm using the Peace APO and EQ instead of the realtek software and with my Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro's it doesn't sound half bad.  Now maybe support will get back to me soon so we can rma this beast.  I was going to pay for crossshipping but since the onboard is pretty good I'll just do it the cheap way.

Did you try rolling back the latest windows update? I’ve had scores of issues with it in multiple computers. None related specifically to the nu audio though (And I do have four of them in 4 different computers). My x299 with the FTW K mobo, one of my two main work systems, finally failed to boot after numerous crashes all weekend, including inability to use a USB keyboard. If I remember correctly the Nu Audio uses USB type connection through a PCIe slot. I know the rollback fixed all the issues rather quickly it’s been running fine since Sunday might be worth trying.

I tried reinstalling the drivers but the hardware is dead and isn't recognized by my motherboard as being present.  It was also causing my power issue that I wrongly attributed to my new GPU as once the card was removed my power issue stopped.

The card is definitely dead and I'm still waiting for the RMA to be approved.

I just ordered the Nu Audio Pro 7.1 card and Amazon is supposed to deliver it same day so I should have it installed later today.  I'll just put the other one up as a spare when it gets repaired.

Well I received the Pro 7.1 which worked well until Sunday when it also decided that it didn't like its new home.  Since it was still in the Amazon return window back it went.  My replacement Nu Audio card is supposed to be here Friday so I'll reinstall it and immediately get on the hunt for a replacement sound card.  Not too many choices these days so I may end up with an Asus card.
