Top Fav Games:

Black Mesa & HL2
Crysis "The first one"
Fallout New Vegas
Doom 2016 "Havent beaten it yet"

Guess ya call me a casual gamer.  I havent beaten Doom 2016 yet, Im just not a avid gamer, even though I love Doom_2016 i get aggravated.  I love the phx in BM/HL2, and love Crysis, im more a precision shooter myself.  Loved FOV but Im needing a new game or games to add to my mix, as ya can tell, I havent played many newer or current PC games, I just like older games that are worth playing.

Looking for some new games recommendations?

Thx,
Knight'

What system specs are you running? It's always a good place to start to know exactly how a modern game would run. Also Doom Eternal easily comes to mind as well as Fallout 4 and maybe the Farcry games.

Nice set up .  I thought the Rysen 5 3600 was supposed to work better with a 570 motherboard?  I am in the process of a similar build but stuck on the MB,  because there is so much to choose from.  And sorry about the thread hijack.

    • GTA 5 (was never a GTA fan until I played this game)
    • WoT - World of Tanks, create an account, and go nuts playin' one of the best MMO's out there (I've been playing for years, and easily put in 5,000hrs, 15,000 matches)
    • Kerbal Space Program - Another game I've sunk thousands of hours into, get the base program and screw around for a few hours until you "fail less often" then go grab some mods (I have 1,100 mods on my game) and create large bases on other planets, orbital refueling stations etc. *KSP II will be out in the next year!

Thank you knightsilver I had read about people going with the 450 ,  but had to do a flash for the Rysen 3000 series where the 570s work great out of the box. I figure the 570 will keep me up to date for a little while longer.

The B550's will be out soon! most recent B450's support Ryzens3's out the box, so just doing ur homework before ya buy your motherbaord. I might wait till the B550's are out, but for my needs I really dont need pcie4. Current M2 SSD's are plenty fast for me, and first gen GPU's with pcie4 wont even push pcie3 anyways.... Id personally would rather have a solid bios then the latest and greatest motherboard, where I tend not to upgrade very often

I hear ya,  I'm just being cautious.  No need to go for more than I will need,  so I am watching and can wait a bit more.  My rig can run most games now,  so I have some time. The info is always appreciated. Sure miss the game servers,  not a big fan of playing CS Global through Steam.

    Thanks

I would have to say Witcher 3 is a game you probably would like and I would also say Tomb Raider series would also be worth checking out.

Darn you guys are gonna make it so i never want to go back to work, instead stay home and play games.  Here is a short video, it seems to be a little blurry to me once uploaded to youtube but when watching the original video fil on my pc its crystal clear. Can't seem to figure out why its getting distorted once uploaded to youtub.   My trusty sidekick is here as well coaching me on.
