had to release your post Above from the filter

Prob me editing it due to my fumble fingers this morning - typing is hard LOL - Also note that clicking Save more than once will crash it. Only click Save 1 time when you are 100% ready to do so.

What about this that was posted on forum

Running a 2080Ti SLI Bridge.  Since the install of 1.0.1 > 1.0.3, my second video card loses sync with LED and eventually the lights just turn off completely.  Sometimes the SLI bridge lights up, sometimes it doesn't.  No issues prior to the upgrade. Only fix I've been able to do is to pull power from the card, re-seat, then boot back up.

and

High cpu usage for PX1

Contacting since 2018 about high cpu usage for PX1 and only reply on ticket i get is: We are looking into this.

Sweet! If you need more info or even a short video showing the issue and workaround, just let me know. Always glad to help if I can. Also, my crash dumps are still there and can provide new dumps if needed. Thanks!

I'm having the same problem, thought I would give Precision X a chance cause it looked better than MSI, but it crashes everytime I try to save any settings.

A clean install of PX1 1.0.3.0 or 1.0.4.0 consistently crashes for me when saving settings, each and every time..Only way I found that works for me is to uninstall, then click "Yes" at the "Do you want to remove Precision X1 setting files" prompt, then install version 1.0.2.0 (which seems to be the least problematic version in recent history) and run it, then close it and do an in-place upgrade to 1.0.4.0 and then it works fine for me, each and every time.

Or just stick with 1.0.2.0 if it works OK for you and the newer versions don't.

EVGA's workin' on it though..Stay tuned for a new version.

Your workaround worked for me 👍

That being said, its so STUPID that people even have to do that, to make their software work properly.
A bug that crashes a program when you try to save, should be a top priority to fix IMHO, not something that takes more than 6+ months to fix.

etc etc
Long story short = Clean install 1.0.2.0 first, then close it, and then upgrade to 1.0.3.0 or to 1.0.4.0, don'tinstall 1.0.3.0 or 1.0.4.0 first, and hopefully you'll find joy too.

This worked perfectly. I remember now why we never used this software and opted for afterburner + the precision skin for kboost. EVGA makes great cards but this software is awful. It has one whole job :\

thank you though works fine now, shouldn't have to do this to begin with though.

I verify that a clean install of 1.0.2.0 works fine, you can save as you are supposed to (I didn't try 1.0.4 on top, I don't need it)!

I can't believe that's its been ~2 months since this critical blocker bug is reported and still not solved!

To put sort of a cap on this, PX1 v1.0.4.0 adjusted some profile settings, which renders it incompatible with older profile settings.

The proper way run v1.0.4.0 if you have an older version installed is to first uninstall PX1 and select remove setting files.  When you install v1.0.4.0, it will install new profile settings to avoid crashes.

This does not work. I never had any evga software installed on my PC. Just installed v.1.0.4.0 yesterday and it is crashing on save. Please fix. I would like to use this software with my evga gpu.

Thanks. This version is working so I don't want to mess with it. I see the next version should be out soon. If the forum reports well then maybe I will make the jump.
