Installed 2080TI on old faithful X58 FTW3 - Works great!

Sold my 1080ti and upgraded to a 2080ti (for the Gsync w/ my LG C9 OLED) and installed it in my trusty x58.
  • 24GB RAM
  • Bootable M.2
  • 4k @ 100FPS
  • Gsync to address any drops in FPS
  • Computer is very responsive
  • No water block for the GPU this time :(
I STILL don't feel the urgent need to upgrade mobo/cpu/ram.... But i guess it's time, ill wait for the next round of Intel cpus and 30xx GPU, maybe in December
 
The card seem to run great 4k 100FPS max settings in most games with my good old Xeon @ 4.5ghz.  So what if I loose a few frames lol

    Hi that is a great looking system.
    and I am also using an x58 system and the bootable ssd card pro 950
    system goes good have a gtx 970 in it looking for something better.
    have to look at the rtx cards now.
