 or should i return and get https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=08G-P4-3081-KR
would it be worth that price difference?

    What web searches have you done to compare the performance of these cards ... in the Game you play & at the resolution of your monitor ?

    2080 Super you mentioned - Looks to be about 15-20% better in FPS on the results I glanced at

    Price diff is 99$ even after using Associate Code. My question is it worth it?
    Would I be able to do Step Up if I got the card off Amazon??

    Asking if it is worth it is a really subjective question. Do you want or need an extra 15-20% FPS while playing in 1440p? Is that worth $99 dollars to you? There is a quantified difference between the cards as CoolGTX showed, but only you can decide if that performance gain is worth it.

    According to this you can still get the step-up if its from an authorized reseller.  https://www.evga.com/support/stepup/   However if buying from a 3rd party seller on Amazon not all of them are authorized resellers.

    ehh ok ill just stick with 2070 and wait till new line of rtx comes out.
