On rare occasions I get stutter in games and when it happens I load either Precision X1 or MSI Afterburner to see what the GPU is doing. What I get looks crazy since temps show in the 40s. The power limit is around 61 to 67% and the GPU is either stuck on 2085mhz or 2115.
This is what it looks like.

My FTW Ultra usually runs at 2040mhz at 72c with the power target close to 124%.
Has anyone seen something like this ?

CPU i7 8086k 5.1ghz all cores
Maximus X Hero
G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB DDR4 3200
 Noctua NH-D15
Samsung 970 EVO 2TB
CORSAIR AX860W

Hey,

Can you update X1 to the latest?
X1 is also transferring some firmware update that may fix bugs in the GPU.
Also, press on the i (right bottom corner) and sent a screenshot of your versions.

General advice, if you will overclock, move also the voltage bar to allow the gpu to go more than 1050mv.
On my, I do not have stable 2100 without custom curve and 1090mv.
Having 2115 at just 1050v is too much i think.

Run GPU-Z & check the "Sensor Tab"

I have already did the update after the event.
It has only happened 4 times since February 2019. It can survive a reboot but the card is back to normal if I switch the computer off then on again.
To emulate the performance of the card when it does it all I do is set the power target slider to in this case 61%.

If it happens again I will run GPUZ and post.
