AnsweredLED Temp Function requires software open?

It seems like if you set the LED color to be based on temp, it never updates the color unless you leave the software open. Is that going to be fixed? I don't like leaving a bunch of programs running. If I was going to leave a monitor open, that defeats the purpose of the LED color, I could just check the monitoring software.
If CPU exceeds 60C, LED won't turn green until Flow Control is opened. Same for if CPU goes under 60C. Color is stuck at green until software is opened.
 
Or is there something I can do to fix this?
