I have a X299 MSI Gaming Carbon pro motherboard with the latest bios version 7A95v1F / Release date 12-19-20 I have made adjustments in the system bios for the memory to be overclocked by using XMP Profile enabled. I am using G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4-256) Quad channel. Sometimes the settings works great with XMP Profile enabled. Other times it fails and I'm prompted with the options to hit F1 to reset the values in the bios or F2 to continue on bootup. Is there a voltage setting I can adjust that would be a better option for the memory to be overclocked at it's specified speed vs using XMP Profile to enable memory overclocking?

    Try setting your VCCSA voltage to 1.2 to 1.3v.

    I see a VCCIN option in the bios. I don't see an option for VCCSA option.

    VCCSA = SA Voltage.

    Under CPU SA Voltage? That is the only reference I am seeing for SA Voltage.

    I got my G.SKill memory clocked correctly. So far it's been stable. I think the MSI XMP just tried to guess what the proper timing is for 3200MHz clocked memory. XMP seems to fail more often when enabled. If MSI continues to release bios updates for another year. This would help curve the problem in the future. Thanks for your help and guidance.

    For sure. My entire system feels rock solid with the new manual timing configuration. XMP never worked for my setup to begin with.
