Hi,

Since upgrading to a 10920x I haven't been able to access OC Robot. The feature worked ok with my old 7900X CPU.

"Your system doesn't support this feature (FOR OVERCLOCKING PLATFORM ONLY)" is displayed.

Tried BIOS's 1.18 -> 1.21 and found they all produce the same message. CMOS has been cleared with BIOS defaults loaded during multiple tests.

I don't rely on auto-overclocking features, but figured to report this anyway. Attachments were taken with BIOS 1.21

Thanks

I'll ask that you contact EVGA tech support in the country in which you reside.

I feel confident that EVGA is already working hand-in-hand with American Megatrends (AMI) to fix that with a new BIOS update..But yeah, you should Contact EVGA about it anyway like RJohnson11 stated.

In the meantime, there's Intel's very own Performance Maximizer for Intel Core X-series Processors that sounds absolutely fascinating, along with the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel XTU) on the i9-10920X Spec Page you might want to try..You can also grab the Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool for bench/stress testing your CPU.

The Intel Performance Maximizer is "an innovative, hyper-intelligent automatic processor overclocking tool. The tool makes it easier than ever to dynamically custom-tune an unlocked Intel processor based upon its individual performance potential."

The chip runs fine @ 4.8GHz (1.3V, all cores, 75-80c under load cooled by a Corsair H150i) when manual settings are applied, so I'm fine without the robot feature.

Should have mentioned that I also tried running my old chip back in the board, and found OC Robot working fine again so its something with Cascade lake-X, which EVGA will resolve at some point.

That temp is a bit high in my opinion. If you have a house fan lying around open the PC case side panel and allow the house fan to blow air into the chassis and then check the temps again. If the temps drop significantly then your chassis airflow isn't good enough.

28c ambient room temp. (Australia), 32-35c idle, 75-80max whilst under CPU-Z stress test. Most of the time it's setting in the mid 30's whist I'm working or watching something, so the temps are under control.

Chassis is a Lian-Li PC-011 with Noctua & corsair fans, but I prefer silence to noise, so they're all set to ~40% speed. Don't laugh at the lower fan config. Have spare white Corsair ML's to use but I like the stacked look of the oversized Noctua's :)

Yes but I think the temps can be lower

I also can't use OC Robot and have a core i9-10920x. I get the same error message as xuqi99
"Your system doesn't support this feature (FOR OVERCLOCKING PLATFORM ONLY)"
Called support yesterday and after several failed troubleshooting steps they said they had to escalate the support ticket.
I hope EVGA's engineers release an updated bios soon for these new x299 intel chips.

I confirmed with our BIOS team last night that the 10920X was accidentally left out of the OC tables.  That is the reason for this error message.  They're aware of the issue now and will patch it for the next BIOS.

Sorry about that, everyone.

I'm experiencing the same on the X299 Micro - 31-SX-E295-KR and in addition it seems on that the cores are mis-mapped for that chip / your current BIOS.
