Just bought this board for use in a Corsair 1000D dual system build I am preparing.

I see that the latest BIOS version is 1.08.

Does this version change or add to the Compatible CPU and Memory listings for this board?

I would like to utilize 32GB (2x16GB) of Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB Memory with this board specifically.  Reason is that I can purchase a 64GB pack of this memory and split it between this board and a Z390 Dark MB.

Any helpful answers would be greatly appreciated. It has been 20+ years since I built my last system and I am trying to catch up on all of the current in and outs of system building.

According to the bios notes no it doesn't.

Go to the EVGA Download Center and View the Notes for each BIOS version for that board.

Newer BIOS versions contain all the fixes and enhancements of the previous versions unless otherwise specified.

You should be equally, if not more concerned about CPU compatibility..A newer BIOS is required so that some CPUs even boot/work..The bad news would be that if it has and older BIOS that doesn't support your CPU and it doesn't boot, you would need to put a compatible CPU in it (or take it to a PC repair shop) to be able to flash the BIOS to the latest version as it doesn't have a replaceable BIOS chip like some boards do.

    Greatly appreciate the answers.

I read the BIOS Update notes for 1.08 before creating this post. The only reason I was asking was because Corsair's website shows memory compatibility based on the 1.08 update, although I am sure the memory will not run at the rated high end MHz on the H370.

I guess my intent was more for aesthetics based on the RGB features of the memory than anything else by running the same memory in both boards, even if the H370 set was stepped down to lower MHz.

Will go with the documented CPU/Memory list given for the two boards for initial builds.  I have already made the CPU choices based on the original documentation for each board. Intel i7-9700K for the H370 and Intel i9-9900K for the Z390 Dark.
