My PC does not boot after installing a GTX 1070 SC (08G-P4-5173-KR). The bios picture becomes visible and the PC does not continue to run. A beep comes after a few seconds. With the GTX 670 in the same slot, the PC runs without problems.
Bios CMOS reset and start without screen without success
The GTX 1070 runs after switching on the PC (fan, lighting ok)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H
WINDOWS 10, 64-bit

Who can help me?

Your 1070 - is it new or used ?

The GPU must be fully seated in the PCIe slot & all 8-pin or 6-pin "power sockets" on the side of the card Must be populated

Did you unplug your PC from the wall when changing the GPU ?

Is Fast Startup turned off in Windows ?

Can You open the BIOS screen ?

Does the GPU show up in the MB BIOS ?

Sorry to have to ask the basics - I have no way to tell what your experience level is

Nvidia update for 10 series cards: This update only applies to the graphics cards listed.

The GPU is installed correctly
The PC was disconnected from all lines during the conversion.
I did a CMOS reset on the gigabyte
Connectors 6 + 2 are connected
The bios cannot be opened
The PC does not respond to the keyboard or the mouse

No worries,
the Spam filter does cause many first time posts to be "Held pending Approval"

I've not researched your MB ... so couple more questions

Can you install & power both cards @ the same time ?

Does your CPU support iGPU - direct connection to a monitor ?

What happens with the iGPU & the 1070 installed ?

After many attempts with iGPU alone, GTX1070 in another place, GTX670 and GTX1070 together, I found the error.
In the BIOS, the setting for the internal graphics must be set from "auto" to "enabled". The GTX 670 runs without problems with "auto", the GTX 1070 does not
