If I buy a new card from a private person (second hand) , the box has not been opened yet, the serial number has not yet been registered on the evga website (I think). Will I be able to buy an extended warranty for 5 or 10 years? - I will not receive any invoice or proof of purchase !
Thank you for your reply

No, a second hand purchase of any type does not get the same treatment as a purchase from an authorized retailer.

The warranty would only be the original 3 year warranty from the date the item shipped from EVGA, not the date of purchase, and will not qualify for step up or extended warranties.

Thank you for the quick reply, although buying the card 33% cheaper seemed tempting, I will choose an authorized seller due to the option of purchasing an extended warranty.

The limitations are the reason I would see what the price is of buying new vs. used. While you get the 3 year warranty unless they are selling a B-stock item it's from the date it shipped from EVGA to a stores warehouse and then to a store. Each day it's waiting to be sold is coming out of the warranty vs. buying new in which you can register it for the day you bought it. Of course without knowing the price it's hard to say how great the savings are.

Use an Associates Code & SAVE 5% - 10% on your purchase. Just click on the associates banner to save, or enter the associates code at checkout on your next purchase. If you choose to use my code I want to personally say "Thank You" for using it.

In Poland
EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti XC Ultra GAMING 6GB GDDR6
authorized seller - X-KOM = 1500 PLN = USD 377 (brand new)
second hand - 1000 PLN = 251 USD (brand new)
