Yes yes I know if I wanted an rgb header I should have just went FTW. But I absolutely love how the dark looks. There was a thread over a year ago regarding a controller, but it didn't yield the best results. I have multiple 5v 3 pin RGB cables that will need to be plugged in. Can anyone recommend something that can handle it? Thank you for your time.

Cool GTX, sorry to bring this thread back, but regarding the argb controller (the one you linked), it looks like it can connect via USB, but it says, " To connect USB of Motherboard, to update firmware of controller for more lighting effect". The only other way to connect this through either 4pin/3pin rgb header which the dark does not have(unless I'm missing something). Am I able to control it if i power it via usb?

Cool GTX Look these over
I can vouch for the CM controllers. I have the CMC-H500M case which includes an ARGB controller that is software controllable by connecting the included micro USB to USB 2.0 header cable to the motherboard. also uses reset switch control for control. I would also add that the dinky controller that came with my SilverStone PF240 AIO liquid cooler has a couple nice effects that the CM doesn't. the pulsing effect is nicer than the CM heartbeat. I use the CM for everything except the cooler itself, which I use the SS one for. also, speed control, color selection, and brightness are built into the wired remote on the silverstone. I've thought about grabbing a wireless controller but I saw only a few standalone options on amazon. hope this info helps

if it's the controller that came with my CMC-H500M, it's controllable via USB by connecting a micro USB cable to the controller, other end goes to a USB 2.0 header on the board. you can also connect the reset switch to the controller and cycle through the profiles with the reset switch. This is the default configuration in the case I have. There is at least one extra profile controllable via the reset switch, that is not listed or selectable via the MasterPlus+ software. I think you can check compatibility with the MasterPlus+ software by looking at the website for it or by downloading it and it'll show compatible devices/controllers/cases/etc.
