I have a display in the mail that needs DP 1.4 for full performance. Supposedly the nvidia patch is non invasive and wont brick cards. Before applying it I would like to know if anyone has had success applying the patch.
 
Nvidia states the patch is compatible with all 10 series cards.

Though after running the application it won't install anyhow "intended for add in cards only".

    We have recommend this update to several who were having certain issues that were fixed by the update. This is fine to use.
