I see a lot of LN2 but not Dry Ice. I love this card but I think it would be fun to try and cool it without destroying it lol.

I wouldn't try dry ice to cool a CPU for extreme overclocking. LN2 is the choice of the world champion overclockers.

I too would like to do this actually (in the not too far future) because its the best I can do. Its nearly impossible for a regular person to get LN2 in my country (in EU), heck I have not heard anyone except people with the right connections getting some LN2 for themselves (or being very lucky with asking the right people) but on the other hand dry ice and acetone are very easy to get. And chillers, those too (that go to -5C coolant or so).

Huh that would be interesting. I do wonder how effective that would be compared to LN2. Of course LN2 is more than likely better but it would still be a fun little experiment to see

Yeah it's a lot of fun. I love getting a dry ice session in in-between LN2 refills. Same prep as LN2 though, so your card may get "destroyed" just the same. A little bit of vaseline never hurt anything though ;) Here's some Fire Strike scores I got on a Dice session a little while ago. 2400mhz/8500mem at around -72c! https://www.3dmark.com/fs/21528714https://www.3dmark.com/fs/21528771https://www.3dmark.com/fs/21528833

I agree it would be interesting to see but I would worry about the card if something went wrong. Still though it's always nice to see someone push the envelope.

I bought a kingpin DICE pot and now it's a paper weight. I don't fancy using it .

Did you end up using the DICE pot at all? I used a DICE Pot for my CPU and GPU a few years back and everything was fun for a bit, but it was far too expensive for what I was able to do.

No They won't let me sell it here after they banned me from the for sale part . I got back in but no interest in buying or selling anything here after that . It's a nice paper weight.

You should give it a shot. Dry ice is very fun, it just takes time to prep the board for the condensation that will inevitably build up.
Using it as a paperweight is also a good thing. Nothing will blow the papers from under a copper block.
