Who will remain anonymous. Who... Well, this community has always been able to make me smile, for a number of reasons. But mainly for it's kindness to others. After asking what i needed to make my build completed I said I need nothing, what i have works, though some is old and will need upgrading. I was then asked what I wanted. I mentioned one thing, I got two.

That is an EVGA RTX 2070 SUPER FTW3 GAMING, and an SuperNOVA 1000 G3!! This is not the first time I have been overwhelmed by you wonderful EVGAers, and i'm sure it won't be the last! I built a mods rigs here (will update images soon) and posted my 3dmark 11 score. With the R9 290 (which is what i had) my score was to me, pretty hot stuff at P16,254. Wih the new VGA card? P26,540!!! I nearly wept. Anyway, I slightly paid it forward by taking what I could of my old stuff and upgrading my nephews computer from 4 gigs of ram, to 16, some pre-built computer gtx 700 series (weaksauce) card to my r9 290, and my 750w PSU. I will not need my SSD drives (both 120gb Kingston Hyper X's) so one will go to a friend here on the forums and one to my nephews PC. Again, stay amazing to one another, I love this community even with it's quirks and things I despise. The people are what make it home. Even you X *hug*

I am a bit sad that there was no case badge... what's up with that. Also realize I will have to find a display port cable. I've been using dvi for so long now I dont know what to do haha

That's kind of how I felt when I got my 2560x1440 monitor at 144Hz....so smooth.

So I think I have run into an issue. I'm not sure it's the display port cable or the fact that I have to use an HDMI to DVI adapter for my second monitor but. When i play shows/movies, I get ALL the sound background noise etc...but i can't hear them talking (unless it's part of the background noise). I have to go into my sound settings, change the output device (my benq monitor that as far as I know has no speakers) to my monitor and then back to my headset. Sometimes it works and sometimes it dont. WILL NOT work in VLC media player, only works in windows media player. And as far as VLC goes, i've never had an issue before and I have pretty much every codec needed to run damn near anything.

Go to 'Open Sound Settings' from your 'Speaker Icon' on the taskbar if you're under Windows 10.  Once open, scroll down to 'Sound Control Panel' under 'Related Settings' and set your prefered device as the 'Default Device'.  Anything you don't use you could just disable so it's not jumped around.

Well...THIS is odd. I recorded it, it did the same thing WHILE recording, but the recording plays the sounds of them talking...I'm a bit perplexed here.
