Ok, its yet to work. Its powered on with SATA cable, ive not plugged in my front audio into the card, but my headphones are plugged in the card its self (using Sennheiser Game Zer0 headset headphone's in the 1/4 jack and mic in the 3.5 mic in). I cant get any audio to come out, and even more odd is that if im playing a video or listening to music, it does it in slow motion.

Adding video to show my issue...

What applications are you using?  Looks like Windows Media Player?

If you drop the sample rate down to 48kHz, what happens?

Yes, its WMP. Same issue when switching to 48KHz.

More than likely, the audio track in your file is at 44.1kHz.  Drop the sample rate down to 44100 Hz and it should play normally.  WMP is really poor for most content if you want flexibility and quality.

Would that keep it from playing any audio? Plus, it does the slow motion playing with YouTube videos too.

Did you get the latest drivers for the NU Audio? It should have flashed the bios. I would figure you would have but it's always great to roll back a driver.

Yes.  Depending on the player used for online videos (based on site), it might not just be limited to 44.1kHz, but might also be limited to 16bit as well.  If you have other programs active that utilize ASIO, while you're browsing or playing WMP, that could be another factor.

VLC is a free and popular player for most content.  Make sure to set the default audio device to the NU Audio, and you should have a better experience.  There are also other audio players for music, such as Foobar, Tunebrowser, HQPlayer, etc.  These will not only be a bit more reliable, but audio tends to sound noticeably better than Windows Media Player.

After removing the card from my system, uninstalling all software, reinstalling in a PCe x1 slot instead this time, using a different SATA connector..... its all working now. Dont know what happened, but it could have just been a poor install by me. Sounds flippin great!
