Hi Everyone, here's the latest driver for the NU Audio Pro Cards.  Lots of new items here.  This should fix the TeamSpeak/Discord issues people have described, along with a few other items people have been requesting.
Release Notes (v1.0.1):
  • Updates firmware to v1.4
  • Detects hardware status. Shows error code if fail.
  • Adds Speaker channel test function.
  • Fixes firmware update fail issue (version v0.4)
  • Updates Nahimic software to v1.0.3 (Fixes user-reported issues with programs, such as TeamSpeak and Discord)
  • Allows optional installation of Nahimic software*
*Note - If users choose not to install the Nahimic software, features including virtual surround, compressor, volume stabilizer, noise reduction and EQ options (including the 10-band equalizer) will not be available.

Let us know what you think, or if you run into any issues.  If you are using an older version of Windows and are running into one of these issues, please let me know and I will look into it.  However, please only request this if you are experiencing these issues.

No problems with the new drivers here. The firmware on my card updated from 1.0 to 1.4 without issue as well.

I just received my nu Audio Pro card, and tried to install the latest drivers, but kept getting a blue screen during the install process. The only way I was able to install the latest drivers was to install the 1.0 drivers first, then install the 1.0.1 drivers. Not sure if there were any software requirements for 1.0.1, but this was my experience.

So, if you haven't already installed the old version, and updated the firmware to that version's included firmware, you can't use the latest version's firmware update. You can't simply use the latest version to just 'skip up' a version.
That's a train-wreck in itself, no wonder it took forever to install mine.

Install current version, reboot, nothing worked, tried to figure out why it wasn't installed, reinstall again, reboot, still not installed. Repeat again, declining the reboot prompt and letting the installer finish. Device detected but not working. Reboot. Attempt to FW update. Get stuck in a loop of not being able to do anything. Force reboot. And then I find this post. Somehow, the site pushed the Nu Audio installer on me at some point too.

If the FW needs to be updated from older FW incrementally, why not just include each of them in the current version's installer and set it so it knows that it needs to flash older FW cards up a version, bit by bit, instead of having to make two (or more) larger downloads?
Or separate the FW tool from the software & driver installer so it can be run on its own have it check card FW then DL FW updates & flash them until the cards are current?

That was my thinking too. If it's the latest version, I'm installing that first. It wasn't readily apparent to me that I needed to install the firmware from the 1.0. Honestly, I didn't even know that the drivers also included firmware updates.

Thankfully once I figured it out the card works! However, I do agree that the firmware should have also been included in the latest update to avoid this issue or at least some warning to tell you to install the older version.

    Hi Lee,
today I got also an Nu Audio Pro Card. The only "bug" I found is, after Sleeping the Bitrate is change to 24bit 44000khz without doing anything. I got an Intel System, this is not a big problem, because I can change it easly back to 32 192000 (my default), but it is something you have to know.
But I think this is still an open point on the list, I read this 2-3 times.

Sorry everyone, let me check into the firmware installation issue to see if that's expected behavior.

@Professor, I'll report this as well.

So...any word yet? I was having issues installing this newer driver (skipped the first version) after installing the pro card. The software seemed kinda weird too. Switching back and forth from headphone to desktop speaker and but audio would not come out the either speakers. Wouldn't even hear the clicking on the card when I would stitch back and forth.

Seems the changing/resetting issue might be related to using the card in Hi-Res Mode.  I'll have a test driver soon that should fix that.

Thanks for the feedback.  We're currently looking into potential PCIe 4.0 issues.  Have you tried this without the Nahimic EQ installed to see if the issues persist?

I can not get this nu audio pro card to work.  I've tried reinstalling the drivers and software with no success.  At the end of the install process it wants me to disconnect the device to complete the installation.  I do this and still nothing.  But I can the software to open up but will not control anything.  It also reports ver 0.0 on the firmware.  Have no clue what to do.
