Hello all. I am currently considering a SFF build in the Lian Li Tu-150 using the ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Impact motherboard. I am struggling with video card selection so I figured I would get some advice here. I would prefer either a 2080S or 2080ti but would also consider a 2070S depending on price and performance. Having never had to worry about the size of my GPU in the past, I am curious what others would recommend in the way of a 2 slot sized card. This will be my first foray into the air cooled world in many years and am looking at a 3900X with a Dark Rock Pro 4 cooler. I would like to be able to put a couple Noctua AF-12s in the bottom to help pull in some fresh air so this is limiting my card selection. What do the wise gurus of the EVGA forums recommend? Thank you all for your advice!

PS, for those that remember me, my 2080ti KPE has been performing wonderfully after the original artifacting and the subsequent RMA. She really is a beast and never goes above 60C in my loop no matter what I throw at it. EVGA’s fantastic service is exactly why I am here looking to purchase yet another EVGA product.

Looks like it will actually fit an Ultra card with a 2.75 slot cooler, but you may need 15mm fans on the bottom.

Not sure if I'd go higher than a 2070 since those small cases on air don't do well when it comes to the top of the line GPUs or anything in the 250w or higher range.  If AIO or a custom loop is introduced, that could remedy what I would think would be thermal issues being just on air.

Thanks for the helpful reply. I guess it’s just my desire to have the best equipment available that makes me want to go with a 2080ti but I think you are correct. For what I plan on using the system for (light video editing, office work, and occasional gaming on slow days at the office) a 2070S will be more than adequate. Now to decide on a specific card.

or get a blower style card ... they push most of the heat out of the Case through the back mounting bracket

You could try a RTX 2080 Ti Ultra Hybrid.
I have mine in a Corsair 750D case with no problems and you can save and save a couple hundred dollars over the RTX 2080 Kingpin Hybrid (which I have).
I bought my Kingpin because I just wanted one and the hybrids are the way to go if you don't want the hassle of full water cooling with reservoirs and preform better than the air cooled ones (I have one of those too!).
However, Kingpin is the way to go for over the top scores if you want to go extreme (LN2).
