does anyone knows what type of fans do EVGA use for their hybrid?? is it better to replace it with something else?? what would yall recommend??
2500rpm power logic ARGB. if you are looking to upgrade you could do the Noctua 3000 rpm fans, but no RGB, i am looking to purchase the OEM fans for the hybrid kits if you have some available

I was lucky enough to grab one of the 3080 ftw ones when they came back in stock. Problem is that I will be out of town for 6 months and the computer will not be used. Is there any shelf life for the liquid inside if I decide not to do the install for the 6 months? I am not sure if I should give to a friend for him to use (as he has been waiting on one) and have him get another when they drop or if I can just leave it in the box until I get back.

The evaporative process would happen when the liquid/hose heats up, so unless you're storing your hybrid kit in an oven, you should be okay.

no, if installed correctly & you do not cause any physical damage while installing it. Keep your stock cooler & screws safe - you would need to install the stock cooler for any future warranty RMA return

Has EVGA made any mention of when these will be back in stock? Seeing a handful pop up for $400 on ebay every so often, but would be nice to not have to pay that much... Was hoping they'd restock after the cards started becoming more widely available.

I just got the Hybrid Kit for the 3080ti FTW ultra
first I think that all the top tier cards should come with a 360 rad like the kingpins and the 3090ti not the 280 what we get I know it will do the job but as far as looks in the case its just weird trying to place that 280 rad and make it match the 360 rad
Also there new 360 AIO is coming next month and that has the rgb lights I wish they would sell there fans
MY WHOLE BUILD IS EVGA Thats the name of the build my all evga build and would have loved to use there fans I made my case evga with stickers check it out click the mods link on the left to see it

Good morning everyone; I was lucky enough (since i check about 20x/day) to purchase a hybrid FTW3 cooling kit for my 3090FTW3U today - My question(s) would be: - Can i keep running the stock "500W" Bios on the GPU or is it a MUST to install/flash the Hybrid Bios to the GPU? - IF i need to flash to the Hybrid Bios; what are the benefits of doing so and would it still be power limited or actually push the 500W? I did the exact same conversion, but took it a step further and replaced all the thermal pads with Kritical thermal pads. It was all at the edge of my abilities but with research (you Tube and Mfg instructions) my changeover went without a hitch.
Rather than having device manager forever call it a 3090 FTW, I decided to update the Bios so it reads "Hybrid". I don't know what other effect that updating the Bios on the GPU had but it has been running very cool for two months now. Updating the Bios with the instructions on You Tube turned out much easier than I thought. My recommendation is do it. With the new pads, updated Bios (Unk if mad a difference), updating to Hybrid and changing the stock fans to Noctura case fans, I am running 20 degrees cooler than with the stock 3090 FTW.

I already upgraded all Thermals with the same Thermal pads and used Kryonaut GPU Paste. I will use the same Thermal pads and GPU paste for the Hybrid kit :)
- I will flash to AIO Hybrid firmware just to be safe; Maybe someone from EVGA can clarify what this BIOS does exactly?
-- Curious to find out if it has the same "500W" power "limit" :)

So this comes directly from EVGA (Thanks team EVGA - you people are amazing!)
- Hybrid Bios is ONLY needed if you run into issues with X1 or MSI Afterburner not recognizing the card and/or fan(s).
- XOC Bios is supported with Hybrid kit as long as the above statement is valid/true.
I hope this will help someone, someday, somewhere :)

I just got the 3080 12GB hybrid and I honestly do not know how I ever lived without this on all of my past cards. No more dealing with high temps when the GPU is running at 90+ percent and no more loud obnoxious fans. It runs like a dream, extremely quiet and the temp barely reaches 60C. All of my future cards will have this going forward. I absolutely love it.

Man I love have one for my EVGA GEFORCE 3070Ti FTW3 GPU Look even name says it water cool for me too. I love have one kind like this for my 3070Ti even do it stays pretty cool on air I love to keep it more haha. I can dream Yes I can CLC FTW
