On my last benchmark run (with sort of extreme cooling) , managed 2250 and 8373 stable all the way through.
How high will these cards go ?
Could have taken the memory a lot higher but it was bringing my score down.
2250 was over 200 extra on the clock .

Is this a rhetorical post? Secondarily if you clock the memory too high, error correction can kick in and lower memory throughput. Your GPU will run whatever clocks it's capable of. Nobody knows how high your specific GPU will go.

Temp really is what dictates how well this card will do... My FTW3 will hit 2250 to 2275.

I've had mine at 2340 core but memory for mine scores start dropping at 8500 or so depending on which benchmark is running.

It's a great score, I repeat though if you want your benchmarks known worldwide and to the public you need to start benchmarks with 3D mark software where Port Royal, time spy extreme, fire strike and others are the most widely used for comparison.

Nice Frequencies on those KP 2080Ti's guys!  AND yup, 3DMARK is really the best way to validate those gpu overclocks publicly. For me Timespy Extreme is still the hardest one to run. Port Royal doesn't seem to push the card as hard and its super short. Timespy Extreme is always the hardest to get through at your max clock, especially on LN2.

One of the guys on the overclockers forum is running 2350 on his HOF.
How do I compete with that.
His score is over 500 higher than mine .

You have to remember though, if someone is using a chiller or dice they will be able to get higher then just standard cooling, even when using the ice or air conditioner tricks. Ive been able to get 2340 then downclock to 2325 quite a few times with a completed benchmark but sometimes i can start the benchmark at 2355 and down clocks to 2340 and it stalls. Still trying to find that sweet voltage so it will complete the test.

Yeah the Port Royal is more for the ray tracing of the card and the time spy extreme is more for the system as a whole fore sure. I was able to get mine up to 2340 again here just a bit ago then it down clocked to 2325  with a measly 7800X cpu. Port Royal score 11,260  http://www.3dmark.com/pr/205909  This was with a starting liquid temp of -5C with the chiller.  Why am i using a measly 7800x you ask, well the 10980XE i paid $1100 for was sold to someone who evidently needed it worse then me. When i was offered $2000 for it i decided it was a sale worth doing.

Right on! Chiller or DI will provide MUCH lower loaded temperatures at the Die than you could ever possibly get with AC added to normal EVGA KP hybrid cooler. It's light years difference, and Turing gpus need every single little bit of cooling to scale. Best I was ever able to do achieve on the hybrid cooler with KP 2080Ti was roughly 2235mnz. Also, this was on XOC bios with no clock drop, so it was a legit 2235mhz at roughly 49-50c fully loaded temps. That is about as good as it gets for that temperature range silicon wise for this gen. Take it down another 15-20c in loaded temps with a chiller and for sure it will scale higher while still at "ambient" temps of 20-25c loaded.
And it goes without saying that you guys always should pay attention to benchmark efficiency. I've seen many people run 2250mhz+, but the game test scores are below where they should be when I ask to see them. The clock that you see in precision or some other utility or gpuz is NOT the true internal clock the card is running at. That true internal clock of the card is dependent on things like power limit and current usage.

I'm thinking a block of dice ( well ventiallated) with a fan blowing into the case over the dice.
The GPU rad in ice and the portable air con blowing at the CPU rad (I can get the i9 9900ks to 5.6 + 4.7 cache on ambient so might go higher).
Room air con on full blast and see how she goes.

If your going to mess with the dry ice your better off to just go ahead and get a vga dice pot and do it right, be safer that way as well. I decided a while back i would do what i can with the chiller and avoid the DICE or LN2 options.

Thanks for the response Mr Vince, usually when benching i pay attention to what the OLED screen is telling me, i put it on 5 settings to monitor, Core Clock, Core Temp, Wattage, Voltage, Memory thats the main ones to see when benching in my opinion. You can see how long it will run before downclocking, you can see starting clock. If it runs a whole benchmark from start to finish at the same clock your pretty close to the voltage needed for the clock speed, if you start a certain clock and it drops in 5 or 10 seconds needs less voltage or a colder temp to maintain the starting clock. The OLED screen is a great feature fore sure on these cards. No doubt that 28-30C temp is a big factor to try and stay at or below.

Port Royal doesn't seem to push the card as hard and its super short. Timespy Extreme is always the hardest to get through at your max clock, especially on LN2.

    Thanks for the advice
Had a go at TimeSpy like you suggestedand it's a pretty good benchmark to watch .
I will wait until I get my extreme cooling up and running and then give it a real go.
    Thanks again.
PS all at stock settings and extreme will have to wait lol.
