I'm having difficulty choosing which EVGA RTX 2080 TI chip to purchase for my system, and many of the specs listed on the website seem to be contradictory

I am looking for a model that is
1) Not overclocked. I do not need overclocking
2) Not a blower or water cooled or hybrid. I want the quietest  solution but no water cooling. I don't know if three fans is better than two, but would appreciate advice
3) Has the ICX2 cooling technology, specifically, the safety fuse

For example, the 11G-P4-2281-KR model appears to meet this criteria but it's not clear from the specs if it has ICX2

Which models meet this criteria? Any help is much appreciated!

Welcome to the EVGA Forums & Congrats on your First Thread

Many EVGA Factory 2080 Ti are Overclocked

so check the Advertised MHz listed ......

1545MHz Boost Clock ---> Is Not Factory OC card .... However these -- "Can Be*" -- Non "A-chip" Nvidia dies will be more limited in possible performance

* [There can be mixed some A-Chips with some Non-A Chips]

Any 2080 Ti will Automatically OC to its fullest potential --> because of "Nvidia Boost 4.0" - (its part of the cards unchangeable Code from Nvidia)

I would Recommend you consider the Ultra cooled cards if you have the required 3-slot spacing in your PC for best Cooling

Based on Your Required Option -- Only Look at cards that have ---> iCX2

Use anyone's Associate Code & Save an Additional 5% on your GPU when buy from the EVGA store ... looks like free shipping today also

edit for Clarity * [There can be mixed some A-Chips with some Non-A Chips]

That’s the one I got too, runs 1995mhz boost clock out of the box, with a hydro copper installed.

the 2080ti is from august 2018!    if you can wait, sit tight and the 3080/3080ti should be revealed this spring or summer!

I ended up going with the 11G-P4-2487-KR . Triple fans and ICX2, 1755MHz Boost Clock

This is the card I have.  It has ICX2 cooling, but not all the temp diodes.  Two fan cooling and boosts by itself to 1905. It is the XC Black, not the plain vanilla Black Edition.  It comes with the "A" chip
