So, Precision X1 likes to just stop functioning after being on for a number of hours. I don't know exactly how long it is before it stops functioning, but I always notice it when the tray icon showing my GPU Temp disappears. When it does this, I'll go to the tray icon for X1 and click it, then the window will show up for a very brief time with noting on it interactive, and then it will just disappear. I then have to go open the program again. It's worth noting that I think the custom automatic fan curve control is still running when this all happens, but nothing else about the app can be seen or used.

Check task scheduler for EVGAPrecisionX, Settings, uncheck "Stop the task if it runs longer than... "

Well, I went in and unchecked it, but that setting says it was set to shut off if running for 3 days, but it only takes hours for it to stop working.

Edit: And a few hours down the line, the program died/shut off again anyway. Pretty sure this has nothing to do with Task Scheduling.

Windows 10 Pro?..Yeah, that's been an issue for some people.

Try Revo Unistaller (Free) to uninstall Precision X1..Use the Advanced Mode to delete files/folders/registry entries, but be SURE you ONLY checkmark to delete the Precision registry entries shown in bold text..Then delete the leftover EVGA_Co.,_Ltd folder normally located in the C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local folder..Then restart your PC..Then temporarily close all open/running programs in the System Tray (Clock area) and Taskbar and install the latest standalone version of Precision X1, right-clicking the installer package to choose to Run as administrator.

The AppData folder is normally hidden so you need to set the Windows folder View Options to Show hidden files, folders, and drives to see it.

If still no joy, maybe try an older version..But check the version history to see if you would lose any functionality in older versions that have supposedly been added/fixed in newer versions.

    Roll from there.

You really should say what OS and hardware you have when looking for solutions to problems, often times that is critical to know.

Just wanted to chime in here that I have had the same issue for quite some time, across different OS installs (Win7 + Win10).  As above, it is not the Task Manager shutting PX1 down, it is crashed/hanging.
