Most 850W power supplies seem to be OK. The old TX850V2 and OCZ 850 are fixed cable but they still work. These days I use an HX1000i so I can fear no video card.

I played Halo at 4K with my GTX 1060, unplayable so I had to dial down to 2560x1440 but the RX 480 can play at 3840x2160.

What was eye opening was the power that the RX 480 was using.  I guess to play demanding games video cards are power pigs. The Sapphire RX 480 was using 200-225W of power.
