I plug my headphones into the 1/4 slot and I get audio just fine, if I use an adapter and plug into the 1/8 slot I get zero sound.
Help.
My mic works just fine. Very confused.

I have HD660s headphones. The larger insert works, the smaller adapter doesn't; should I reinstall the software or?
    Any help would be appreciated.
Sorry if I am completely ignorant.

Bout to review this as being a piece of **** and segue that into buying a schiit stack instead, that'd make an excellent video!

In the Nu Audio software, you should see where it says "Playback Device". Under that, you see an icon for speakers or headphones. If you are using headphones through the 1/4 jack, and you hear sound, you have it set to headphone playback. If you connect to the analog speaker outputs, make sure you change the playback device to Speakers. You can change from the headphone and speaker outputs just by clicking on either one in the Nu Audio driver control panel.
