I ask this because I am building a custom desk PC and think I have a good chance at the EVGA bucks reward.

What all has changed? I seen where only a certain 3dmark score works now. What all do I need to register and buy etc to be qualified for the reward or sponsorship, whatever it is.

Could also need points in posting and uploading pictures.

Thanks

Yes, It is still relevant.  I removed your last post as it was shorter and had the same questions as this one.  No need to duplicate posts.
You need to post the system on https://www.modsrigs.com/
    Upload pictures, and benchmarking scores.
Post your system in this thread, edit your above post to input the pictures and system stats.

You don't need to buy or register anything, just follow the rules on the page linked above. The system you have is all you need, it doesn't even require the parts to be EVGA.

Your chances to win are the same as everyone else's.  Once the number of required systems is met, a random system will be picked.  https://www.modsrigs.com/sponsorship.aspx <- you can read all of the rules right there, and it explains it better than I can.  The tests that are required to be verified may change in the future, but for now, it is 3D Mark Firestrike and Mark 11. 3D Mark is actually UL Benchmark now.

So is that countdown number the number of how many systems that are needed before the drawing? What if it never hits 0? What then?

I am going to make a suggestion... your first post immediately started with “I have a good chance at the EVGA bucks reward”

So what does the counter matter? If you have a good chance, follow the rules, and check the counter after. You’re chances only increase when you post your system, as not posting keeps your chances at 0.

In the end, your chances are the same after posting the system. It’s a random drawing. If you don’t get in before this counter is complete, you will be in for the next counter.

You have as much a chance as anybody. It's a random drawing, there is no way to increase your chance other than simply entering it.

Yes its relevant as i am😼

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.

I wanted to win last year, but no luck. Someone won with a mediocre system and blunt photos, I genuinely believed my rig deserved a winning spot.

I always thought it was whoever won the most votes in a certain category, won the $1k bucks. Being random is a complete buzzkill

If it was based strictly on +1’s for a system, people would farm votes just like they do for anything that requires votes.. that isn’t a fair system.. random is fair, as anyone could get chosen. Basing wins off of Facebook and reddit spam isn’t a fair deal.

There are certain requirements to be eligible - like 3DMark scores, photos.. but yeah it's random drawing for qualified entries. The 200 systems used to fill up more often, but not as many people post their systems in ModsRigs these days. I was one of the lucky winners about 6 years ago [link].

Also if it was who ever got the most votes you could bet that professionals would always win. Do you really think that you would get more votes then a system built by Gamers Nexus or Jayztwocents? Not saying they would enter but if they did they could get thousands of votes and rig the system against anyone without a YouTube channel with thousands of fallowers.
