I have a Z390 ftw mounted inside a DG-76 case. bundled case fans were pretty loud, so I got some Noctuas for Christmas that were PWM. I thought I would just be able to set them to SMART like the CPU cooler and such but looks like I can still only set them to a static % which isn't really what I want. No need for them to be blowing full blast when not gaming, and I'm someone who leaves the computer on during the day usually. Am I missing something here? I'm about to delve into the BIOS again to see if I can find some more options, otherwise looks like I'll be forced to try Speedfan as unfortunately none of the currently available EVGA software seems to have the capability to control the fans from within Windows, aside from the CPU cooler and video card.

The smart fan option is not available for chassis fans because there is not a thermal sensor for feedback (like the cpu has).

I put an NZXT fan speed controller in a 5-1/4" bay slot and have it programed for different profiles. They are very nice controllers and look good with the touchscreen style panel.

Yes it do!! Have a look in your manual book for EVGA Z390 FTW pages 87

In your Chassis fans setting and go top change to CPU Temperature in 'FAN CONTROL BY'

have a read from pages 86 to 89 here your Manual book for Manual book for EVGA Z390 FTW

Yep you are correct. I had to click on the tile bar to get to the submenu. Now I'm playing around with the settings as I have 2 fans not on the NZXT controller. Thanks.
