Question about Nu audio pro daughter card.

Is the daughter card pointless if you will only be using headphones? Will there be no added benefit to them unless you have speakers?

    The daughter card adds speaker connectors for 7.1 surround sound. That's what it does. Don't need that? Don't buy it.

    The only headphones that will require the daughter card are the Tiamat 7.1 headphones
