could use bass redirection my front speakers are doing the work only my subwoofers should be doing
the theater mode would be nice if I could get it to turn on only when using an app like kodi. Or turn on when watching movies in 1.0 mono or 5.1 .should be able to customize the dsp levels too
could also use volume protection for loud annoying pop ups .

Also there's no volume limiter in high res mode

Isn't that the job of your speaker's (apparently missing) high pass and low pass filters?

when I had Realtek drivers with bass management turned on it put less strain on my front speakers there’s no option for anything like that in the drivers

Also it Needs much better volume controls . on my Realtek I can keep it limited per speaker in windows control the drivers tend to reset the levels back to 100 not cool especially when ur using tower speakers and a big amp

Yeah, +1 to this request. I just got an EVGA NU Audio Pro 7.1 card, and I'm shocked that it doesn't offer me any way to select the proper subwoofer crossover frequency setting. My decade-plus old Creative Labs card provided that. As it is, I'm not getting the bass I should be at all. Hey, EVGA, how about such a feature?
