    Good deal but we will have to see how good the games are and if they are games already given away. The sale though might be good since Control and Metro Exodus came out as exclusives to Epic so a sale would be nice to see.

    Does Steam give away free games? I don't remember them doing this much in the past... If at all. However, most of the games that Epic is giving away are games that I already own on Steam. It has been nothing special so far. Now, if they gave away some Epic exclusives, that might make things different, but I doubt that is going to happen.

     given where steam is and where the epic store is, I don't think they need too.
    Epic is doing all the giveaways to invest in increasing it's user base, something that steam doesn't really need to do.
