Updated to latest version.
Audio effects and quick equalizer do not work.
Advanced equalizer works.

Works at first.
However, when the notification sound of Discord comes, it is invalidated.

Windows10 Home 64bit Version1909
Intel Core i7 4790
Geforce GTX1070 8GB
Memory DDR3 16GB
Motherboard ASUS H97-PLUS

Clearly something's messed up with the Nahimic part of the driver.  I'm going to send you a file later today to help pull some system information, which I can pass along to our team as we are still looking into this sort of issue.

Under the evga.com/software page. The links to download the software for windows 10 still points to 2.0.7.
Also there is no mention of the pro software being separate from the regular software.

I've received a PM asking if I could send diagnostic information about the init issue. I would but I cannot reply to the PM (the function is not activated with my account).

Edit: I should learn to read... I'll send the files to the provided Email...

I've updated the drivers for my NuAudio card from 2.1.2 - that worked fine to 2.1.6 and everything got messed up. During the 2.1.6 upgrade the Firmware updated to 0.31 and everything looked promising. But after the reboot I have no audio. The card is recognized in device manager but the only "output" that can be selected is SPDIF out. No headphones or speakers... in the nuaudio app the speakers are grayed out...
I've uninstalled the drivers and then tried to re-install the 2.1.6. back and got the init error. at that point i've uninstalled everything and downgraded back to 2.1.2 driver version to get everything working again
any ideas?

When I enable Surround in the Audio Effects my foot steps, gun shots from my weapon among other things I notice all come out of the left speaker in Modern Warfare. Is that normal???

In the latest 2.1.5 and 2.1.6 drivers, I'm still having wake from sleep issues.  Half the time it wakes up, the card is completely gone from the system, the audio options in the NU Audio panel are greyed out and unclickable (like volume, SPDIF, Speakers, Headphones, etc), nothing works.  The only fix is to reboot.

This didn't seem to be a problem back in 2.0.7.  Now it's literally 50/50 that it works or the card is recognized when waking from sleep.

Another issue I've seen is if you're running VMWare on the PC, even though the card is set to be on the host not the guest OS, 9 out of 10 times if the computer goes to sleep with the VM active, when I wake the computer, the audio card tries to associate to the VM and prompts me if I want to connect it to the VM, it doesn't matter if I say yes or no, the card then becomes completely unavailable to either OS.

Just as an update, we expect to receive a new driver from Nahimic later this week.  After we complete testing, we should have a new driver version sometime next week.  I'll update this post if/when I have a more definitive release date.

What do you have the audio settings set to in-game?  E.g. Surround, Stereo, etc.  Please remind me whether you're using speakers or headphones.

what's the future for me with Nu Audio and Nu Audio Pro cards?
the fact is that buying a popular model of ASUS or Creative I know that manufacturers will update the drivers and there are alterative programmers writing drivers.
for example I have an Audigy ZS card that was released in 2003 but even now works successfully in Windows 10.
the question is: how much do you plan to fix driver errors if necessary? 3 years after the last batch of cards was released from the factory?(
please tell us the company's policy in this regard.
thank you Evga (and I'm very interested in the official comment about claps of cards when turning on/off.)

I don't believe we typically have a policy about support, in this regard, since we try to pass concerns onto our Software team whenever people report an issue regardless of when a product is released.  We've been as proactive with updating NU Audio software as we have been with any of our other products, if not more.  If there are driver issues causing usability issues with the software (e.g. users can't open the software, instant crashes, etc.), those become a priority to solve.  If it's a matter of making a small UI change because a member thinks it would look better, that's probably going to be a lower priority.

With that said, we still update software and firmware on many products long past their end-of-life.  When Intel released security hotfix microcode updates, we released motherboard BIOS updates for motherboards much further back into the past than our competitors.  We do have some limitations on products, as the software for some products was originally designed by a third-party, which precludes us from updating it further.  That's not an issue in the case of the NU Audio and NU Audio Pro cards, however.

Bottom-line, if you guys have issues, requests, and/or problems, please let us know and we can look into them.

NU Audio Pro drivers are up today.  We expect the NU Audio drivers next Wednesday.  Should have a similar feature set, I believe.

Hi Everyone, here's the latest driver for the NU Audio Card.  This fixes driver crashes when switching from DSD playback.  There are other issues we are currently working on, but this is what we have today.

Why is this at the bottom of a thread that is only partly related instead of pinned to the top of the forum as its own post with the other driver releases?

Because this is for driver 2.1.5 and the current driver is 2.1.14 which is newer.

Let me try to explain.  My speakers are in my 27 in monitor, with onboard sound thru hdmi cable all is fine, but when switch to Evga nu sound, i get nothing.  The options i have are nu sound speakers, or spidif.  I have gone into settings in windows and switched to nu sound and i get nothing.  When i look at the software i do see the volume going up and down so there is sound just not out of my monitor.  I hooked up my intergrated amp tonight, i ran it out of rca outs on nu sound card and into my aux in my amp and it worked find with seperate speakers.

Im thinking there is no way to make this work thru my monitor, need desktop speakers im guessing.

On another not, when im running rca outs on the sound card, NU SOUND, to my amp and my amp to speakers and im watching youtube, of Amazon hd music, all the music i play is passing thru the dac in the nu sound card ?.   If i want to play flac or dsd, do i have set the drop down menu in the software to for example 24/192 etc depending on what im playing ?

Thanks for all your help.   Trying to figure all the software and how this card works, choose this over a external dac.

Hello Califmike33, The Nu Audio card will be able to output sound to your monitor if you have a 3.5 audio INPUT.
