I was wondering if there are any issues I might run into with running an RTX 2060 Super XC Ultra in my i5 6500 w/ 24GB DDR4 / 650w psu setup, I plan on upgrading cpu and mobo  to a 9600k / Z390 later next year.
Performance wise it should run everything good at 1080p 60hz and 144hz correct? 
Games played are things like GTAV, RDR2 , CoD:MW, CS:GO etc...
 
any info is appreciated thanks in advance.

    I'm not sure you will be able to push 144 frames on all games, even at only 1080p resolutions & an i5 6500 processor
    But overall, you should be pretty happy with the 2060 Super.

    Thanks, that's pretty much what I needed to know, just wanted to make sure there wasn't any issues other than the bottleneck that's expected

    Make sure your motherboard BIOS is up to date also  - -  more than a few people have had issues putting newer card tech in an older motherboard...
