I know this is a newbie question and yes I tried the search function on the forum first but can someone send me a link or give me the reader digest version on how to start pushing the volts in the bios to get higher numbers and when doing this do I adjust the clocks in the bios or still use Precision X1?

The only way you will be able to actually change your voltages is by using the classified tool for the kingpin. There you can change the voltages for the core and the memory. You will still use the sliders for how much overclock on the core and memory by using the PX1 software.  You will not be able to change anything in the bios themself.

Make note to change voltages you need to reboot the pc after making the change in the classified tool.. well for atleast the ram.

Did you see reply #1? That thread has a link to the tool. And it has a link to the xdevs guide. Everything is there. Just dedicate some time to sit down and read all of it.

Seems like a lot of times the info is in front of us we just get in a hurry and just don't read through it quite thorough enough.

I understand but what I'm asking is what settings is everyone using on the tool using water cooling? NVDD? FBVDD? PEXVDD? PMW Freq? +1.80 ?
Also is everyone flashing the bios and using the classified tool? or can I just use the classified tool and get the same results? Also I tried opening nvflash and all it does is take me into a DOS window that only allows me to hit enter or Q for quit. How do I flash the bios? Sorry I know this is a lot of questions but I am learning.

Its not a one size fits all, every card is the same but different and everybody's cooling loop is different, so to each person would be there own individual settings and results. In general though the only 2 you need to mess with are the NVDD (core voltage) and FBVDD (memory voltage) and then you can change the Loadline as well, the lower the number the more heat generated though in the Loadline setting.

If I am using the classified tool do I also need to change my Bios to the extreme bios to lift the power and temp regulator or does the classified tool automatically do this for me. Also when I downloaded NV Flash to change the Bios all I get is a dos screen that tells me to hit enter or q but it doesn't allow me to do anything in the tool? I am currently pushing the frequency and running 2175 with 8500 memory and I cannot push past 2175 no matter what I do and I'm running 38c. Is the bios flash the answer?

You can change the voltages and loadline in the classy tool without switching bios but the only way to really let the card go up higher without being held back with limitations and safeguards is the ln2 or xoc bios. 38c is great but to keep boosting it needs to be down at 30c or below. You should have been able to get 2175 or even 2190 with the stock cooler and without the classy tool, what was you getting?

With the classy tool and the ln2 bios the most i have pulled out is 2190. I am doing something wrong and I need help figuring it out. I'm dunning 8500-8600 on the memory and up to 2190 but closer to 2160 on the processor setting the NVVDD to around 2 and the PBVDD to 1.41250 and the PEXVDD to 1.220
I can set the Precision X to whatever on the clock and it wont go past 2190 without freezing up. I can't even figure out what settings to us on Time Spy as I can't even complete one on the settings I used for Superposition benchmark. I'm new to this but have a basic understanding thanks again for the help!

That 2 nvvdd is way too much, your probably throttling instantly, with regular liquid cooling shouldn't go over 1.2v on that, your memory voltage needs to be 1.5v or so for 8500mhz and the pexvdd doesn't need changed at all, default is fine. Don't try the 8600mhz memory there's no way your gonna keep that stable. All 3 of my cards anything over 8500mhz starts lowering benchmarks scores.
