where is the speedshift technology setting on the z390 dark?

cannot find it neither in cpu information where the c-states are, nor in power management.

12900k - asus z690 APEX - 32gb 6400 cl30
3090 FE - phanteks 719 - corsair ax1600i
dual mora3 420 - 2x d5, 2x ddc - samsung neo g9 49" 240hz - 2x 27" 120hz

    IIRC, the speedshift setting is only exposed in the XOC bios.

    wow, i need to install an outdated bios to have this enabled?

    What do you mean? That says "If your board have old BIOS version before version 1.04, please update BIOS to 1.04 or later. Otherwise controls/settings discussed below not apply directly."

    well, is the xoc bios based on 1.07 ?
     
     
    it appears there is significant performance loss if it's disabled, which it is by default on the z390 dark

    Interesting results. Since when exposed in the XOC BIOS the default is off, I would think its normally off in the regular BIOS but not exposed to the user.

    I doubt its based on 1.07 because of the date and I can't read German.
     
    Since the Dark has 3 BIOS chips, you can always flash it onto one of the ones you are not using and test.
