ok so i've had this card for almost 4 years and i wanted to add another screen to my setup for workflow reasons. i left and came back the computer was off and wont turn on. i later realised that when i plug it in without the pcie plug in it turns on fans running and everything but it would tell me to plug in the pcie plug. i plug it in and it wouldnt turn on at all. luckily i have another gpu but i was trying to figure out if it's revivable.

Have you tested with a different pci-e cable?
Does the other card work with the same pci-e cable?

Then you should actually test the card in another pc as the problem could be caused by the psu. If the card acts the same way in another pc the card has a problem.

This would confirm if the problems are following the unit, surely.

What psu make and model? Did you test the PSU at all? Do you have a UPS system?

Please post the complete hardware specs and software specs of your system. BIOS up to date? Windows all patched up and driver updates?
