Hey all,

I just took delivery of a new EVGA PSU, and I opened the box and the shrink wrap is torn in one place. I was wondering how serious of a problem this is, if at all.

Thanks,
Aaron

pretty serious.  You will have to now open the PSU box and install it.

They are just to make the cable compact & look better .. not going to hurt function

    Which PSU & cable ?

You could reach out to EVGA CS & ask them to send a replacement cable --> After you register the PSU

What's the problem? You have to tear the shrink wrap to open the packaging. Torn shrink wrap film resulted from opening the box is not an issue.

Yeah, I'm thinking he means the shrink wrap around the actual cabling is torn ...?
