I realize this is an older thread, but recently my D8/Vcc Error light has come on red. I called EVGA Tech Support and they told me it was memory and to try one stick at a time.
Well I got around to it and for JUST for fun I pulled ALL my memory out and turned it on! Guess what!!! The LED was STILL RED! I called tech support yesterday and spent a lot of time
with them on the phone and told me with no memory on board it should not even turn on! The tech put me on old for awhile came back to me and said there may be an error in the manual or something
but either way he would write a detailed report to have it investigated.
The reason I am trying so hard to know is it didn't use to be on all the time and I REALLY do not want any issues! The PC works fine, all my memory shows up in the bios at the correct voltages
etc. I just want to know and I will know because if something IS wrong I want it to NOT be wrong.
